Our Mission
“The mission of I Am Beautifully Broken, Inc is to empower youth, individuals and families who have experienced adversity to embrace their inner strength and resilience. We strive to create a safe and diverse community where vulnerability is celebrated, and healing is prioritized. Through connection with programs, events, and resources we aim to inspire individuals to turn their pain into purpose and embrace their unique journeys towards self-discovery and personal growth.”

What We Do
I Am Beautifully Broken works to fill the gaps in community services, creating a bridge to stability and independence for our program participants. We connect youth that have aged out of foster care, as well as individuals and families impacted by homelessness, trauma, and addiction, with community partners who provide physical and mental health services, housing services, and other essential support. We strive to identify like-minded organizations to support our mission in providing move-in costs, rental assistance, and housing resources, ensuring that no one falls through the cracks.

The steps we will take
At I Am Beautifully Broken, we engage vulnerable youth, individuals, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds through direct outreach in the community. We provide food, clothing, water, and other resources, and support participants in connecting with physical and mental health services, housing, and trauma-informed care.
The outcomes and benefits for participants include:
- Reduced involvement in sex trafficking, victimization, and exploitation through increased access to trauma-informed services and support.
- Improved social support, including stronger social networks, increased participation in community activities, and greater engagement with support groups and peer mentoring programs.
- Improved quality of life through increased access to food, clothing, and personal hygiene resources.
- Improved housing stability by providing funding for move-in costs, rental assistance, and furniture.
