About Us

I Am Beautifully Broken fills a critical gap in community care by providing specialized outreach for transition-age youth impacted by sex exploitation, trafficking, and homelessness. While our primary mission focuses on these young adults, we also provide immediate resource navigation for families and individuals we encounter in the community.

Our work starts with meeting basic needs for survival and dignity. We provide essential supplies directly to those who are unhoused, including food, clothing, tents, and hygiene items. Beyond these immediate supports, we serve as a vital resource bridge, helping our neighbors navigate job resources, behavioral health services, and utility assistance. Our team provides consistent advocacy and supplies until we can successfully connect participants to stable, permanent housing. Led by a team with both professional and lived experience, we ensure no one has to navigate the journey from the streets to a home alone.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our outreach. Many of us share the lived experience of those we serve, bringing a deep level of empathy and understanding to every street outreach in Maricopa County. We aren’t just providing services; we are neighbors ensuring our underserved and unhoused community members know they are seen, heard, and deeply valued.
